The House that Prayer Built

well, hello!

First blog post… not gonna lie- It’s a bit of pressure, yall! Rather than rattling off the latest and greatest in home organization and all the things to make us more productive and put together in 2021- let’s start with the home basics. Prayer.

In every home that Mark and I have purchased, our first post-closing task has been to “bless” the house. We select special verses and literally write them on the walls as we pray for our family and the memories we will make there. Well— last year I did things a little differently. I literally walked through our house praying strategically and specifically for my people and these spaces. (Yes- this feels crazy.) It was the best “new year activity” I could have done. (Girl, You know those drawers can get organized later!)

Aren’t they fun?! I even made one for the laundry room- and can we all agree that it’s the most stress-giving space in our homes?!
